Most Etsy tools answer one question or the other, which is why sellers end up with two subscriptions and still no clear picture. A quality checker tells you your title is short or your tags are single words — useful, but it never tells you whether that matters for the search you care about. A rank tool tells you where you sit for a keyword — useful, but it leaves you staring at a number with no idea what to change. Both halves are on this page, free, because separately neither one actually finishes the job.

The first check reads your title and all 13 tags straight from your listing URL and scores them out of 100 against specific things: how much of your 140 characters you use, whether a recipient term is in there ('gift for mom', 'for him'), whether an occasion word is missing, whether your tags are single words competing in an enormous generic pool instead of multi-word phrases that match how people actually type. The second check takes a search term you want to be found for and tells you where Etsy places your listing among the first 500 results for it — and shows you the listings ranked just above yours.

One thing worth being straight about, because most tools are not: the position you see here is how Etsy itself ranks listings for that search on pure keyword match — not the exact spot a shopper sees. Real Etsy results put paid ads in the top spots, often the first four, and shift depending on the shopper's country and what they have browsed before. No tool can hand you one true 'your position' number, and any that claims to is guessing. What this shows is the part you control: how well your listing matches the words a buyer types. If it is not in the first 500 at all, that is not an estimate — nobody searching that term is finding you.
